Background

Patrick brings nearly 20 years of international retail and wholesale experience in information technology management and enterprise solutions applied to: merchandise and financial planning, product and order management, allocations and inventory management, operations, logistics and supply chain management as well as all corporate back-office functions (HR, finance). He has both managed software development initiatives from the ground up, and implemented off-the-shelf software and technology solutions.

Patrick specializes in ERP and other high impact transformation initiatives, especially those implemented on a global scale for which his experience is ideally suited.

Patrick started his career in logistics and operations, holding various positions in the maritime transportation industry. His operational experience eventually led to his transfer into the world of information technology where he was able to apply his skills and expertise to design, test and implement advanced business solutions. From maritime logistics, Patrick entered the world of specialty retail in the global supply chain IT function at Toys R Us international. He eventually rose to direct all logistics, supply chain and inventory application development functions for the international division, supporting 7 major markets generating over $2 billion in revenue.

Patrick subsequently became CIO at Urban Brands, a specialty women’s apparel retailer that operated two brands and over 300 stores in the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, where he directed the upgrade of the group’s infrastructure and of all core enterprise applications.

His achievements and global expertise ideally qualified him to become the first global leader of the IT function, and acting CIO for Quiksilver, where he developed the first comprehensive global IT strategy, establishing shared IT services, centralizing governance and funding, and initiating a gradual move toward harmonized applications and technologies across the enterprise. At Quiksilver, Patrick directed a combined worldwide staff of 114 IT professionals in five operating regions, and aggressively sponsored global IT initiatives, developing economies of scale and increasing global operational efficiencies.
